Charity reception for Kosovo-Metohija

Advisor to the Serbian Prime Minister Vladeta Jankovic said that the Christmas and New Year's charity reception for Kosovo-Metohija, organised by Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, will be held this evening. The event is aimed at raising funds for the Serbian government's newly-founded Fund for Kosovo-Metohija.
Jankovic told the Tanjug news agency that at the end of 2004 the Serbian government used budgetary funds to finance the establishment of the Fund, which will be further financed through donations and other forms of assistance.
This evening's event will be attended by a few hundred guests, and the funds raised will be distributed to those who need them the most.
