The Serbian government will not, under any pressure, desist from the peaceful way of solving problems in Kosovo-Metohija.
For the Serbian government, there is no real alternative to dialogue because it is the only way to reach a solution acceptable to all citizens of Kosovo-Metohija and the only path to lasting peace.
The Serbian government urges the UN and the EU, who have the control over the southern province, to act in accordance with their mandate and ensure peace and security for all citizens and prevent any attempt of provisional authorities in Pristina to destabilise the situation.

The Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Defence are in constant touch with KFOR and EULEX and are ready to give them all the necessary help in stabilising the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, reads the statement by the Serbian government.
