Stefanovic told Tanjug news agency that despite the
unfavourable situation which arose after fire was set to Jarinje administrative crossing, the Serbian side was given firm guarantee that there will be no further forced entries by special units of the Kosovo Police Service (KPS) and no attempts at bringing Albanian customs officers to this crossing.
Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic said in a statement to Tanjug that he hopes for a positive outcome and resolution to the crisis that broke out after a provocation by KPS special units to take over administrative crossings in northern Kosovo.
He said that during the day, talks will be resumed with KFOR representatives in order to find the best solution to meet the interests of citizens in the north of the province.
Bogdanovic underlined that the Serbian side will not discontinue efforts to
revert the situation in the field to its original state before the forced entry of KPS special units.
