In euros, the amount for this period stood at €9.09 billion, which was a 22.5% decrease compared to the same period 2010.
The value of exports amounted to $4.7 billion, which was a 30.5% increase when compared to the same period last year, while the value of imports amounted to $8 billion, which was a 25% increase relative to the same period last year.
Expressed in euros, the value of exports amounted to €3.35 billion, which was an increase of 25.8%, compared to the same period last year.
The value of imports amounted to €5.74 billion, which was a 20.7% decrease when compared to the same period last year.
The deficit amounted to $3.34 billion, which was a decrease of 18.1% in relation to the same period last year. The deficit expressed in euros amounted to €2.39 billion, which was an increase of 14.2% compared to the same period last year.
The export-import ratio equalled 58.4% and was higher if compared to the same period last year when it was 55.9%.
