State Secretary for Kosovo-Metohija Oliver Ivanovic said that the issue of missing and kidnapped persons should be included in the agenda of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina as soon as possible.
Ivanovic told Tanjug news agency that Serbia is committed to cooperation in order to shed light on the fate of missing and kidnapped persons from the province’s territory.
Exhumation by EULEX in a cemetery in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica is related to Belgrade’s demand to Pristina to begin exhumation of graves where we suspect the bodies of Serbs killed in 1999 are buried, he said.
We want to put the topic of missing and kidnapped persons on the agenda of the negotiations in Brussels because this is a humanitarian issue in which we are trying to find answers to questions raised by the families of kidnapped and missing persons, said the State Secretary.
