Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic handed out today in Kosovska Mitrovica decisions on the allocation of financial incentives to businessmen from Kosovo-Metohija, which will create conditions to open approximately 60 new jobs in the province.
Bogdanovic stated that more than RSD 34 million will be distributed to 34 businessmen from Kosovo-Metohija dealing with the manufacturing and service industries.
He pointed out that this is the fourth allocation of incentive funds for the improvement of production in Kosovo-Metohija in the last two years.
He stressed that the Serbian government continues in this way to invest in the province, noting that the only way for people to survive in the area is to provide them to live from their work and have jobs.
Bogdanovic said that another award of the incentive funds will be granted by the end of this year for agriculture and recovery of agricultural mechanisation.
The allocation of incentive funds was done according to territorial representation, he said, noting that 61% of funds went to those who live south of the Ibar River.
Bogdanovic said that the Ministry will control the way of spending the allocated funds.
