Jeremic at UN Security Council session on Kosovo-Metohija

Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic will attend a UN Security Council session on Kosovo-Metohija tonight at which the latest report by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will be discussed.
Jeremic announced that at the session, Serbia will ask for support to launch an independent investigation into human organ trafficking in the province, adding that it will endorse the Security Council’s decision to establish an adequate mechanism for conducting the investigation.
He stressed that a letter by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to the Security Council is encouraging, because in it he endorses an impartial and independent investigation into allegations from the Council of Europe’s report on inhumane treatment and trafficking in human organs in Kosovo-Metohija.
