Belgrade, Pristina resume talks

Belgrade/Brussels, 28 March 2011– Head of the Serbian negotiating team for talks with the provisional institutions of self-government in Pristina Borislav Stefanovic voiced his expectation that today’s round of talks between Belgrade and Pristina will yield positive results.

Prior to the beginning of the second round of talks, Stefanovic told the press that the two delegations will discuss the unresolved topics from the previous round and open the debate on energy and telecommunications.
We expect to continue discussion on the topics we put forward during the previous round. We will probably begin talks on electricity supply and electricity consumption by Serbian companies and Serbian consumers in the province, he said.
I hope that this round will be successfully closed and that our citizens will be enabled to use electricity and infrastructure, which is managed and run by our company, and pay for these services, Stefanovic observed.
He also voiced his expectation that discussion on topics, such as cadastre, registry books and telecommunications, will be completed during this round of talks.
