Prior to the meeting with representatives of Kosovo Albanians in Brussels, scheduled for 28 March, Stefanovic told the Tanjug news agency that the focus of the talks will be on topics that were opened at the previous meeting, adding that this time there will be a broader expert approach.
We will most likely discuss electricity, as this poses a huge problem for Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija, and this will be an opportunity to resolve this issue, Stefanovic underlined.
The problem that needs to be solved is the supply of electricity to Serbian citizens living in the province, he specified.
By defining this system, Serbia will maintain its position regarding the sovereignty, and at the same time enable the supply of electricity to citizens, he observed.
In this sense, we are in for difficult negotiations and we will endeavour to solve as many challenges as possible. We are nearing the resolution to some of them, but in any case, the dynamics of the talks will continue and hopefully we may reach concrete results this time, he added.
The first round of talks between representatives from Serbia and provisional self-government institutions in Pristina took place on 8 and 9 March in Brussels.
