Bogdanovic told the Tanjug news agency that it is very important that the talks started, adding that this satisfies all parties in the process, including Albanians, Serbs as well as the international community, showing that difficult issues can be resolved only through dialogue.
The Minister reiterated that the interest of both Serbian and Albanian sides is to reach a solution as soon as possible.
In the past three years, when there was no dialogue, the problems were accumulated, leading to a situation that both Serbs and Albanians live hard because of the formalities such as the issues of registration plates, mobile phones, documents, etc.
Serbia will never recognise Kosovo-Metohija's independence but, on the other hand, will do everything to improve the lives of primarily Serbs who are most at-risk population in Kosovo-Metohija, and of course, Albanians and other ethnic communities that live there, said Bogdanovic.
This is an opportunity to reach a compromise that can satisfy both sides, said the Minister.
