Stojkovic said that it is essential to reach an agreement on voluntary surrender of those indicted by the Hague tribunal and he stressed that the Serbian government will do its best to fully cooperate with the Hague tribunal.
Stojkovic said that the voluntary surrenders by two indictees and pre-trial release of another two from The Hague is good progress in cooperation with the tribunal.
It is a very good time to improve the Serbian government’s credibility and to transfer certain cases to the domestic courts, said Massari and welcomed the transfer of jurisdictions from military to civilian courts in Serbia.
Massari also said that OSCE will continue to provide financial and other kinds of support to the Ministry of Justice given that the reforms in the judicial system have received positive assessments.
