Bogdanovic said it is disastrous that ten years after the death of 12 Serbs, including a two-year old, in Livadice near Merdare, who were killed when a bus stepped on a mine, the perpetrators of this crime are still not known.
The crime in Livadice is but one in a series of unsolved crimes. We still do not know who murdered harvesters in Staro Gracko, children in Gorazdevac, the Stolic family in Obilic, or perpetrators of other crimes over Kosovo Serbs, the Minister stressed.
If after a decade not a single crime against Serbs has been solved, than the international presence must explain themselves and state the problem.
The international presence must remove all obstacles and create conditions for the final resolution of these crimes, he added.
Serbia is not part of the problem, but is ready to help, he noted.
Excuses stating that there are no witnesses or evidence only give rise to more doubts and suspicions, Bogdanovic stated, adding that the only fact beyond any doubt is that crimes against Kosovo Serbs were ethnically motivated.
