Government passes family bill

The Serbian government adopted a family bill at its session today, and forwarded it to the Serbian parliament for adoption.
A Decision on approving one-time aide payments to underprivileged families in Kosovo-Metohija, totalling 4,879,400 dinars, was adopted.
The government adopted a Decision on setting up a commission for implementation of the action plan for combating organised crime, and a Decision on establishing a commission on ageing and geriatric issues. Also, the Decision on the network of social care institutions was amended.
A Programme for use of subsidy funds to public non-financial firms and organisations, targeted at those firms that have set up workshops for disabled persons, was approved.
The government adopted an Information regulating debtor-creditor relations of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia public company with creditors from Czech Republic and Poland. It also adopted an Information regulating ZTP Belgrade Transport Company to the European Investment Company.
The government adopted an Information on the condition and implementation of activities on the business-financial consolidation in the Viskoza holding company from Loznica, as well as an Information on a European Bank for Reconstruction and Development loan for reconstruction of the Subotica municipality infrastructure.
An Information on Memorandum of Cooperation between the Serbian Ministry of Justice and the government of the United States of America was passed.
At today's session, the government confirmed all guarantees it gave to the Hague tribunal for pre-trial release of indictees. It also issued guarantees for pre-trial release of Dragomir Milosevic and Vojislav Seselj.
