In a statement the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management stated that the Ministry of Agriculture presented the national stand of Serbia, promoting Serbian food products, where fair visitors may get acquainted and informed about the agriculture of Serbia.
Serbia's stand during an official tour of the fair was visited by German Minister of Agriculture Ilse Aigner and Chair of the government of Vojvodina Bojan Pajtic.
The events organised within the fair included "Investment Opportunities in Southeast Europe – CEFTA countries", where Minister Dragin presented Serbian agriculture opportunities.
The three-day "World Forum on Food and Agriculture" is the most important event for "Green Week" focused on trade in food and global food security.
The Delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management held a number of important bilateral meetings during the fair, where they discussed current issues of cooperation between countries, as well as future ways of cooperation during the process of EU integration.
Within these meeting, Dragin met with ministers of agriculture in Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Macedonia, Austria, Holland and Brazil.
