The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved yesterday the sixth review of Serbia’s economic performance under the programme supported by a Stand-By Arrangement (SBA), allowing the immediate disbursement of €373 million.
With that amount, the total withdrawn funds under the SBA will rise to about €1.9 billion for Serbia.
The original 15-month SBA was approved to Serbia in January 2009, amounting to €409.5 million. In May last year it was extended by another year and was increased to about €3 billion to support the Serbian government’s economic programme.
