Serbian monasteries need further protection of international forces

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic met with the commander of NATO's Joint Forces in Naples, U.S. Admiral Samuel Locklear, and the Commander of KFOR, General Erhard Biler.
The Ministry says in the statement that Bogdanovic informed Locklear and Biler about Serbian position regarding resolution of the issue of Kosovo-Metohija and the current situation in the province.
The Minister pointed out that it is necessary that the international forces continue to safeguard Serbian monasteries, churches and cultural and historical heritage, and reiterated the readiness of Belgrade to cooperate with legitimate international representatives.
Locklear and Biler highlighted the readiness of the international military mission in Kosovo-Metohija to continue and improve cooperation with Serbia within its jurisdiction.
