The Serbian Statistics Office stated today that the retail sales volume in Serbia in October 2010 rose on average by 14.6% in current and 4.4% in constant prices, when compared to October 2009.
The statement adds that compared to September 2010, the October retail sales volume increased by 6.8% in current prices and 5.4% in constant prices.
In the period January–October, compared to the same period in 2009, the retail sales volume rose by 5% in current prices, but fell by 1.8% in constant prices.
The data on the retail sales volume was obtained within the regular monthly statistical research.
