Kostunica meets Louis Michel

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met on Thursday with Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Louis Michel, and discussed foreign policy priorities of Serbia-Montenegro, improvement of the functioning of the state union and better institutional protection of Serb population in Kosovo-Metohija.

Prime Minister Kostunica said that the promotion of relations with the European Union would improve the situation in Serbia and the international position of the State Union of Serbia-Montenegro.
Referring to the cooperation with the Hague tribunal, Kostunica said that Serbia must establish a dialogue with Brussels and Washington.
Louis Michel said Belgium will offer support and assistance to Serbia in the process of European association.
