The Ministry says in a statement that EULEX has been requested to enable Minister Bogdanovic unhindered visits to the province, in line with its mandate and authorisations, bearing in mind that the Pristina authorities occasionally attempt to prevent such visits.
Minister Bogdanovic was supposed to visit the village of Priluzje near Obilic today and lay a foundation stone for the construction of eight flats, for which his Ministry earmarked RSD 12.4 million.
He was also to officially open a kindergarten, financed by the Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija.
However, the interim authorities in Pristina denied Bogdanovic access to Priluzje, therefore Assistant Minister Dragan Petkovic will visit the village, the statement adds.
