Serbian government to decide on Serbs’ participation in elections in Kosovo-Metohija

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic said today that the Serbian government will make a timely decision concerning the participation of Serbs in Kosovo elections scheduled for 12 December because this is a state issue and is in the state’s interest.
Bogdanovic told Beta news agency that the Serbian government will send a clear message to Serbs that will not leave space for ambiguity.
The decision will take into account the opinion of Kosovo Serbs, the Minister affirmed.
He stated that he has already had a series of talks with Kosovo Serbs and with displaced persons.
Consultation with the Serbs is part of serious analyses and evaluation of all possible consequences of the decision on whether to participate or not in Kosovo elections, Bogdanovic concluded.
