Parivodic, who heads the Serbia-Montenegrin delegation at the meeting of heads of CEI member states, told the Beta news agency that he highlighted at the meeting that Serbia-Montenegro is strongly committed to the protection of human rights, especially in light of March events in Kosovo.
Voicing support to CEI and all its activities, Parivodic said that cooperation of the young is a very important aspect of the integration process in this part of the world and the EU.
Parivodic also expressed support to the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe, whose frameworks for Serbia-Montenegro helped conclude free trade agreements, and added that the state union also calls for a multilateral regional free trade agreement.
"We now have the opportunity to approach the EU on two tracks and we are grateful to the EU Council of Ministers for that", the Minister said and added that consultations with the European Commission are to be held on the ways in which that approach will be realised.
The Minister said that a feasibility study will be completed soon, and the Stabilisation and Association Agreement by late 2005.
Parivodic said that there will be no more conflicts in the region and that the only method of Serbia's politics is a dialogue. Serbia-Montenegro wants to be included in all dialogues which concern its own interests.
