The Serbian Statistics Office stated today that the average September salary stood at RSD 48,016, up 1.8% in nominal and 0.7% in real terms against the month before.
The average take-home salary in September was RSD 34,570, which is nominally 1.8% more than in August, or 0.7% in real terms.
Compared with the same month in 2009, the September salary increased by 10.2% in nominal and 2.8% in real terms.
The salary without tax and contributions paid out in September 2010 was nominally 10.4% higher against September 2009, or 3% in real terms.
The average salary in the period January-September 2010 against the same period last year was up by 7.2% in nominal and 2.4% in real terms.
The nominal growth of the average take-home salary in the same period grew 7.3% whereas the realistic growth was 2.5% against January-September 2009.
