Bogdanovic told Tanjug news agency that he supports law and order in northern Kosovo-Metohija and prosecuting all those involved in crime, but added that international forces must be careful in performing their actions.
We have nothing against controls. However, there is a concern over a psychological and propaganda war, as there is a large number of KFOR and EULEX troops present in northern Kosovo-Metohija, which creates tension, Bogdanovic said.
Reacting to intensified control of KFOR, EULEX and the Kosovo police, Bogdanovic declared that it is obvious that this is an act of intimidation.
I told municipality presidents to tell their residents not to be tricked by provocation. We want peace, we do not want any incidents and we are against a show of force. This is a sensitive area. We need to establish cooperation with KFOR and EULEX, stressed Bogdanovic.
