Bogdanovic stated yesterday in a written statement that with such moves Pristina wants to create an atmosphere of fear and the full isolation of Serbs, precisely at the moment when negotiations on all problems are expected to begin, including the problem of telecommunications.
Such an act of Kosovo’s interim institutions shows unambiguously that Pristina wants to respond to every constructive proposal of Belgrade by provocation and one-sided actions, the Minister pointed out.
He affirmed that it is obvious that such actions of Kosovo’s interim institutions aim at intimidating the remaining Serbs south of the Ibar and their ethnic cleansing, and they also show that Pristina does not care about sincere dialogue and reaching a compromise.
He explained that the side that creates tensions, an atmosphere of conflict and that makes one-sided moves right before any dialogue must bare the consequences of such behaviour.
Bogdanovic underlined that in the period before the dialogue the international community must react in a preventive way as soon as possible in order to avert irresponsible behaviour and further one-sided moves by the Pristina authorities.
He called on the international community to enable Serbian telecom operators to work without impediment in Kosovo-Metohija, create conditions for a normal and safe life for the Serbian population, and to prevent any violence of the interim Kosovo institutions towards the remaining Serbian population in the province.
