Government to adopt platform for talks with Pristina

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic stated that the Serbian government will adopt a platform for talks with Pristina in line with its mandate, competencies, national interests and actual circumstances.

In a statement for today’s edition of the Politika daily, Bogdanovic stressed that any opinion and argumented debate about the way the Kosovo issue could be solved will be welcome to help draft the document.
He also noted that as soon as the joint resolution of Serbia and the EU was adopted, the public in Serbia impatiently engaged in reckless speculation and suggestions.
He explained that it is too early to speculate about the modality and agenda of the future dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, adding that at the moment it is crucial to define the process which will solve the historical conflict between Serbs and Albanians.
We are open to all options and suggestions which may help us reach an essential and sustainable compromise, the Minister reiterated.
