Bogdanovic said in an interview for today's edition of daily newspaper Vecernje Novosti that Serbia is consistent that there should be dialogue, because it is inevitable and necessary.
We need to discuss all contentious issues and find solutions for the preservation of the Serbian community and improving the living conditions of Kosovo Serbs, he stated.
Bogdanovic highlighted that the status of its southern provinces remains a central issue for Serbia.
Belgrade's position is well-known – dialogue is the only way for solving the Kosovo-Metohija problem, said Bogdanovic.
The Minister for Kosovo-Metohija said that during the negotiations with Martti Ahtisaari as mediator a number of issues were discussed – decentralisation, cultural heritage, economic and property issues, but almost every time the process stopped when it came to status issues.
He said that Serbia has a list of priority issues, but is now examining the sequence of moves.
Bogdanovic pointed out that dialogue requires thorough preparation noting that it will be a long-lasting process.
The Minister for Kosovo-Metohija said that the EU will have a central role in the mediation.
On the other hand, it is difficult to imagine this process without the experience and influence of the UN, Russia and the United States, concluded Bogdanovic.
