Banning Minister Bogdanovic’s visit to Kosovo-Metohija new provocation by Pristina

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic said that EULEX, in accordance with its status-neutral mandate, must react to the ban on his visit to Kosovo-Metohija made by the provisional institutions in Pristina.

In a written statement, Bogdanovic pointed out that the unilateral move by the provisional Kosovo authorities is another in a series of political provocations, and that Pristina’s behaviour is unacceptable, being in line with its well-known policy of causing constant tensions, conflicts and provocations.
He recalled that his visits to the province were always with the aim of reaching a peaceful solution to the issue, finding a compromise and attaining reconciliation between the Albanian and Serbian people. Finally, he asked who does his announced visit to Priluzje bother and why, bearing in mind that he merely wanted to open a new kindergarten there.
