Halt to privatisation in Kosovo announced

Serbian Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo said today in Zvecan that certain initiatives for stopping the privatisation process in Kosovo-Metohija have begun.
On his visit to Trepca mine complex in Kosovska Mitrovica and Zvecan, he said that there is a possibility that official Belgrade will initiate litigation before the International Court of Justice in order to stop privatisation in the province.
The Minister said that international representatives who are part of the Trepca management agree that there can be no privatisation of Trepca without the previous agreement with the Serbian government.
