The Serbian Statistical Office stated today that the prices of goods and services in June 2010 went up on average by 0.4% compared to May this year.
Consumer prices in June 2010 went up by 4.2%, compared to June 2009, and by 4.5% when compared to December 2009.
Observed by classification of main product groups and services, in June 2010 the highest increase in prices was seen in education (5.6%), followed by housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (0.8%), health (0.7%), furniture, maintenance and transport ( each by 0.5%), alcoholic beverages, tobacco, garments and footwear (by 0.4% each).
Prices of other goods and services did not change significantly.
