The Serbian Statistics Office stated today that the May retail sales volume in Serbia increased by 2.2% in current prices and decreased by 3.3% in constant prices compared to the same month in 2009.
Compared to April 2010, retail sales of goods rose by 0.8% in current prices, but went down by 0.5% in constant prices.
In the period January–May, compared to the same period in 2009, retail sales volume fell by 0.9% and 0.2% in current and constant prices respectively.
The data on retail sales volume was obtained within the regular monthly statistical research.
