The Serbian Statistics Office stated that the May average gross salary in Serbia amounted to RSD 46,454. The May average gross salary was 4.3% lower in nominal terms and 5.5% in real terms when compared to the previous month.
The average net salary in May 2010 amounted to RSD 33,463, which is 4.3% lower in nominal terms and 5.5% in real terms than the average net salary in April 2010.
This year’s May average gross salary, compared to the average gross salary in May 2009, was nominally higher by 7.6% and 3.7% in real terms.
The average net salary in May 2010 was 7.6% higher in nominal terms and 3.7% in real terms, when compared to the average net salary in May 2009.
The average gross salary in the January – May 2010 period, was 6.4% higher in nominal terms and 2.2% in real terms than the average gross salary in the January – May 2009 period.
The average net salary in the January – May 2010 period was 6.6% higher in nominal terms and 2.4% in real terms than the average net salary in the January – May 2009 period.
