The Ministry says in a statement that they discussed all open issues regarding the relations between Belgrade and EULEX, as well as the situation in the southern Serbian province.
Bogdanovic insisted that the EULEX Mission should strictly and consistently abide by its mandate and implement authorisations stemming from it, all the time remaining status-neutral.
At the meeting, Kermabon and Bogdanovic looked at issues regarding the judiciary, police and customs, as well as issues related to the functioning of Serbian mobile operators in the province.
Bogdanovic recalled that over the last few months Pristina made several unilateral moves demonstrating violence against Serbs south of the Ibar River in order to exert more pressure and make the position of the remaining Serbian population even more difficult.
The Minister demanded that EULEX acts in line with its mandate, preventing any kind of violence and restraining Pristina, as well as establishing better communication and coordination of the mission with Serbian state organs.
He reiterated that any plan for the integration of the northern part of the province is unacceptable for Serbs in the province and Belgrade.
Serbia is ready to be pragmatic and constructive while cooperating, but will not be forced into accepting unilateral decisions and creating an artificial equilibrium between the northern and southern parts of the province, Bogdanovic concluded.
