According to Jocic, the agreement will further improve the good relations between the two countries' ministries.
The Minister also noted that Austria is the only country to have maintained police ties with Serbia during the economic and political blockade of Yugoslavia.
He went on to say that the agreement stipulates a more efficient exchange of information in joint efforts to combat organised crime and terrorism.
Strasser described the agreement as a big step forward in relations between the interior ministries of Austria, Serbia and Montenegro, adding that the document calls for intensifying police cooperation to fight drug smuggling, illegal immigration and other forms of crime.
According to Djurovic, the agreement is yet another form of support for Montenegro's fight against organised crime.
