March prices of goods, services up 1.2% against February

The Serbian Statistics Office stated today that retail prices of goods and services in March 2010 rose on average by 1.2% against the previous month.
Compared to March 2009, prices went up by 4.7%, while in relation to December 2009 they rose by 2%.
Compared to the previous month, major increases were recorded in the housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels group (5.3%), transport (1.1%), recreation and culture (0.7%) and food and soft drinks (0.5%), while the prices of other products and services did not change significantly.
