At its session today the Serbian government passed a bill on the affirmation of the free trade agreement between Serbia and EFTA countries. A bill on the affirmation of an agreement concerning inland navigation and waterways maintenance between Serbia and Croatia was also passed.
A bill amending the law on free access to information of public importance was adopted.
A strategy for return to Kosovo-Metohija was adopted.
Decrees were adopted amending the decrees on the establishment of a programme for implementing Serbia’s energy development strategy for the period 2007 to 2012, criteria and conditions for refund of, release from or reduction of penalties for pollution, a plan for a network of health establishments and the import of cars.
The government also adopted a Decree on the protection of forests for 2010 and a Decree on incentives to raise production funds for planting orchards, vines and hops for 2010.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Dinkic pointed out that the "guillotine of regulations" is going too slow and the ministers agreed that this process must be accelerated.
Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic instructed ministers to finalise the implementation of the "guillotine of regulations".
Monthly reports will from now on be regularly released to the public regarding cutting down on unnecessary procedures.
