Working group, public procurement committee for monitoring sale of Telekom Srbija shares

The Finance Ministry stated that at separate sessions a working group and a public purchase committee were formed today. The working group will monitor the sale of state owned shares in Telekom Srbija and the committee will procure management consulting services.
According to the statement issued by the Finance Ministry, rules of procedure were also adopted. Both the working group and the committee will be headed by State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance Slobodan Ilic.
All decisions of the working group and the committee were passed unanimously and the Finance Ministry is doing intensive work on the preparation of a public tender, said Ilic.
He said that the next meeting of the committee should be held late this week. A public invitation for collection of bids for public purchase is expected to be announced on 10 April.
The agreement with the best bidder should have been concluded by mid June, with which the realisation of the project would begin.
