Pakistan’s position on non-recognition of Kosovo independence important for Serbia

Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said today in Islamabad that he will present the situation in Kosovo-Metohija to Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Minister of Foreign Affairs Shah Mahmood Qureshi together with Serbia's efforts to find a solution to the future status of the Kosovo-Metohija issue within the borders of international law.

Jeremic told the FoNet news agency said that Pakistan is the second largest Muslim country in the world and that for Serbia it of utmost importance that Pakistan has kept its position on non-recognition of Kosovo's independence.
He said that there is room for expanding economic cooperation between the two countries and expressed the hope that negotiations on agreements on protection of investments and avoidance of double taxation will be completed today.
