Situation regarding rule of law must be improved in northern Kosovo-Metohija

Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice Slobodan Homen and EULEX Head of Mission Yves de Kermabon talked today about finding a solution for the regulation of the judiciary, police and customs which would be acceptable for all sides.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija, the meeting was held to discuss ways of improving the rule of law in Kosovo-Metohija and several measures for building mutual confidence were examined.
They agreed about future meetings at which functional solutions are to be determined, especially in the judiciary.
During the meeting they urged that the situation must be improved regarding the rule of law in northern Kosovo-Metohija and agreed that the best way of achieving this is to find pragmatic solutions, the statement adds.
