The Serbian Statistics Office stated today that retail prices of services and goods in Serbia this January rose by 0.8% on average compared to December 2009.
January retail prices jumped by 8% compared to January 2009. Average retail prices in 2010 rose by 10.1% in comparison with the 2008 average.
The cost of living in January 2010 increased by 0.6% compared to December 2009 and compared to January 2009 it went up 4.6%.
The cost of living in 2009 increased by 8.6% when compared to the 2009 average.
CPI COICOP represents a special retail price index calculated according to the methodology harmonised with recommendations for retail price index calculation in the EU (Harmonised Price Index).
CPI COICOP is defined as a measure of the average change in retail prices of goods and services used for personal consumption.
