Srbijagas, Gazprom to sign agreement on establishing Banatski Dvor Joint Venture

Director General of Srbijagas Dusan Bajatovic and representatives of Russian Gazprom will sign an agreement tomorrow on establishing a joint company for the underground gas storage Banatski Dvor.
The agreement on the formation of a joint company for the Banatski Dvor gas storage facility was signed by General Director Srbijagas Dusan Bajatovic and Gazprom Deputy Chairman Alexei Miller on October 20 last year, in the presence of Serbian and Russian Presidents, Boris Tadic and Dmitry Medvedev.
The storage facility will have a capacity of 450 cubic metres of gas.
The joint company for Banatski Dvor, Banatski Dvor Joint Venture, will be 51% owned by Gazprom and 49% by Srbijagas.
Forming this joint venture is one of the three elements of the oil-gas arrangement signed at the end of 2008 between Serbia and Russia.
