Bogdanovic, who was earlier stopped by members of the Kosovo police and the Rosa special unit and instructed to leave Kosovo-Metohija, said that he received information that the orders came from Pristina.
He reiterated that in preventing his visit to Strpce, the authorities in Pristina have sent out a message to all Serb returnees that they are not wanted.
Bogdanovic said that this was an impudent move by the interim Kosovo authorities, because he is a citizen of Kosovo-Metohija and as such, regardless of his ministerial function, he has the right to go to the southern Serbian province.
This is proof that there is no freedom of movement in Kosovo and that Serbs from Kosovo, including myself, are denied that basic human right, the Minister for Kosovo-Metohija concluded.
