Ministry of Interior, Anti-Corruption Agency agree to cooperate and exchange information

Belgrade, 12 January 2010

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic talked today with representatives of the Anti-Corruption Agency about forms of cooperation, since one of Serbia´s priorities on its path towards the EU is the fight against corruption.

Members of the Agency briefed Minister Dacic about the results the Agency has achieved so far and about establishing capacities for its full functioning.

Other topics discussed were some articles of the Law on the fight against corruption and ways of registering the property of state functionaries and legal regulations in that field.

In addition to Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency Zorana Markovic, the meeting was also attended by President and Vice President of the Agency’s Board Cedomir Cupic and Tanja Miscevic.
