The Ministry says in a statement that Bogdanovic stressed that the OSCE, as part of the legitimate international presence in the province, must be status neutral and act in line with UN Security Council Resolution 1244, as well as protect the human rights of Serbs and other non-ethnic Albanians more efficiently.
OSCE Secretary General Brichambaut agreed that the OSCE must protect the rights of all citizens, voicing the mission’s readiness to act within the framework of Resolution 1244.
Brichambaut welcomed Belgrade’s constructive stance, noting that current issues in the province can be solved more thoroughly and efficiently through cooperation, the statement adds.
