Retail prices in October up 0.5 percent month-on-month

Retail prices in October went up by 0.5 percent, with prices of goods growing 0.6 percent, while services went up by 0.2 percent. Compared with last December, retail prices jumped by 9.7 percent, the Serbian Statistical Office stated.
The cost of living in October rose by 1 percent month-on-month, while it rose by 10.7 percent when compared with December 2003.
The prices of agricultural products went down by 0.6 percent, food products inched up by 1.3 percent and beverages went up by 1.1 percent, reads the statement.
