Serbian Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic talked today in Belgrade with Director-General for External and Politico-Military Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union Robert Cooper about the current situation in the southern Serbian province.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija, Bogdanovic pointed out various problems and said that it is expected that the EU mission in Kosovo-Metohija will maintain its status neutral position and act solely in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
Cooper welcomed and supported Serbia’s constructive stance regarding the resolving of problems in the southern Serbian province, stressing that the EU will make intensive efforts in order to resolve problems in Kosovo-Metohija in a comprehensive and effective manner.
