The statement adds that four renowned German companies from the car and metal industries will be in Serbia on November 23 and 24, adding that the visit was initiated by the German Ministry of Economy and Technology, while the organizer is German company Spelecken.
The goal of the visit is for the German companies to get acquainted with the economic situation in Serbia and through direct contact with domestic companies establish the basis for future cooperation.
On the first day of the visit, at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the German companies will be informed about the state of certain industrial sectors in Serbia.
The meetings between the German and Serbian companies have been prearranged and for the next day a visit to the Fiat Company has been scheduled, for which the German companies showed huge interest. Afterwards they will also visit the regional Chamber of Commerce in Kragujevac.
Spelecken representative Ivan Babachev recalled that this is the second visit of German companies to Serbia initiated by the German Ministry of Economy and Technology, adding that they were extremely pleased with the results of last year’s visit.
“The Month of Export” campaign began around the end of October and will end on December 7 with the annual presentation of the SIEPA 2009 Exporter of the Year award.
On December 2 over 50 companies will meet in Belgrade, with over 15 German and Austrian firms seeking new suppliers.
