Deputy Prime Minister Labus attends business club conference in Slovenia

The first day of the international conference of business clubs in Brdo Kod Kranja focused on the protection of small shareholders' interests and was very useful to Serbia, said Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus.

According to Labus, Serbia has already seen several cases where the interest of small shareholders has not been protected properly.
As part of the conference, top managers from Slovenia, Croatia and other countries in Europe also discussed modern corporate management, the role of managing and supervisory boards and ways to protect small shareholders, he added.
The two-day conference, organised by the Socius Club, a leading business consulting firm in Slovenia, resumes in Bled today, when representatives of business clubs from Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Austria and Serbia-Montenegro are due to discuss cooperation among business clubs, the exchange of knowledge and experience and the importance of establishing international business ties.
