The Serbian Statistics Office has said that retail prices in Serbia in September 2009 went up by 0.3% month-on-month, with the prices of goods rising 0.2% and services 0.6%.
Compared to September 2008, retail prices rose 9.5% while compared to December last year they went up by 9.4%.
The prices of agricultural products were up 0.7% on average from the previous month, while the costs of industrial foodstuffs were down 0.4%.
Beverages increased 0.1% in price while tobacco prices remained the same.
Non-food products were higher in price by 0.5% whereas the price of services increased 0.6%.
