In a statement to the France-Press news agency Jeremic said that Serbia believes in the strength of its legal arguments, adding that it would be difficult to impose any political decisions to the ICJ.
The Minister also voiced his pleasure at the fact that only 61 states, namely less than a third of UN members, recognised Kosovo’s independence, which is a great achievement of the Serbian diplomacy.
We said there is no point in putting forth one’s stance before the ICJ states its opinion, Jeremic noted adding that it is good that the five permanent Security Council members (China, the USA, Russia, the UK and France) have agreed to state their oral reports at the court.
