The Serbian Statistics Office said that the average gross salary in Serbia in July 2009 amounted to RSD 45,307, up by 2.4% in nominal terms and 3.3% in real terms in comparison with the previous month.
The average take-home salary in July stood at RSD 32,553, which is an increase of 2.5% in nominal and 3.4% in real terms compared with the average salary in June 2009.
Compared with the same month in 2008, the July gross salary rose 10.7% in nominal and 2.5% in real terms. Net salary also increased 10.7% in nominal and 2.5% in real terms.
The average gross salary in the period January–July 2009 compared with the same period in 2008 increased 11.2% and 2.3% in nominal and real terms respectively.
Compared with the January–July 2008 average, the average net salary in the period January–July 2009 rose 11.2% in nominal and 2.3% in real terms.
Compared with the same month in 2008, the July gross salary rose 10.7% in nominal and 2.5% in real terms. Net salary also increased 10.7% in nominal and 2.5% in real terms.
